When you submit an application or create an account, we collect:

• Identity data: Full name, profile photo or company logo.

• Professional data: Headline, biography, skills, years of experience, team size, founding year, and location.
• Portfolio data: Project titles, descriptions, technologies used, and project URLs.
• CV / résumé: PDF files uploaded by freelance applicants.
• Account data: Email address and hashed password used for portal authentication.
• Usage data: Standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, collected automatically when you use the Platform.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data collected for the following purposes:

• To review and evaluate your application as part of the vetting process.
• To display your approved profile to businesses seeking AI talent.
• To communicate with you regarding your application status.
• To send transactional emails (application received, approved, rejected).
• To facilitate meetings between you and prospective business partners.
• To perform semantic search and matching using AI-assisted tools.
• To improve and maintain the Platform.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider that uses industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Uploaded files (CVs, profile images) are stored in Supabase Storage with access controls enforced at the database level.

The Platform is hosted on Vercel, a cloud hosting provider with robust security practices. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: You may request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction: You may update your profile information at any time through the candidate portal.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. We will process requests within 30 days.
• Portability: You may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection: You may object to the processing of your data for marketing or profiling purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your profile is active on the Platform, or as long as necessary to provide our services. If your application is rejected and you do not reapply, your data will be retained for up to 12 months before being automatically deleted.

You may request immediate deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Transactional email logs may be retained for up to 90 days for legal and operational purposes.

8. Cookies

The Platform uses session cookies provided by Supabase Auth to maintain your login session. These cookies are essential for the operation of the Platform and cannot be disabled while using authenticated features. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
